S3 - Known Issue - Missing manifest Version error with AWS Import and Export tools

Solution:

This error occurs if the manifest file specified when you initiate a CreateJob request is saved using UTF-8 encoding.

  1. Open the manifest file in Notepad.
  2. Choose File, then Save As.
  3. For Encoding, choose ANSI, and then choose Save.
  4. Send the CreateJob request again.
